ExamMark started with a simple question: why does marking take so long?

South African Subject Matter Experts spend hours, sometimes days, marking a single set of papers. The memo is clear. The rubric is set. The process is mechanical. But it is also exhausting, error-prone, and leaves little time for the teaching that actually matters.

We built ExamMark to do the mechanical part faster and more consistently, without removing the Subject Matter Expert from the decision.

This is not a product that replaces judgment. The AI proposes marks based on the memo you set. The Subject Matter Expert reviews, overrides, and signs off through a moderation process. There is a complete audit process that is POPIA compliant.
