How ExamMark marks your papers
Here is what happens from the moment you upload a batch to the moment you download the marked PDFs.
- 1
Set up the memo
Walk through the wizard once per paper type. Confirm the marking memo, place tick anchors, and set rubric levels. Takes about 15 minutes for a 30-question paper. You only do this once per exam type.
- 2
Upload the batch
Scan or photograph each script and upload as a PDF bundle. ExamMark accepts multi-page PDFs. No special scanner required — a phone camera in a well-lit room works.
- 3
AI marks twice
Two independent AI agents mark each paper using your memo. Where they agree, the mark is set. Where they disagree, a third arbitration agent reviews the evidence and decides. You see progress in real time.
- 4
Subject Matter Expert moderates
Review the flagged papers — those where agents disagreed or where confidence was low. Override any mark. Add comments. The AI never has the final word. You do.
Human in the loop
The AI suggests. The Subject Matter Expert decides. No mark is final until a Subject Matter Expert signs off in the moderation flow. Override any mark, any time, with no friction.
